What a TRIP?! Recon for yet another Destino retreat in the bag.
Day 1: CrossFit Lahaina which just happens to be run by the most kind, gracious, yet kick your ass people. Anthony, the owner ran us threw a brutal WOD that had us wondering just what we had signed up for in purchasing the week long pass.
Day 2: back for more with an early morning WOD before hitting the road to Hana. Amazing views, black sand beaches, water falls, fruit stands, and great locations for outdoor WODs. There’s no explaining where we stayed in Hana. Imagine a spot that can soothe, inspire, and move by just sitting on a rock and staring out at the ocean. Day 3: early morning to Haleakala National Park, The Seven Pools and Waimoku Falls trail. Back to Lahaina and the opportunity to train with Chyna Cho and Freddy Camacho. The energy at Crossfit Lahaina was absolutely intoxicating, paddle boarding, drinking and lying by the beach.
Day 4 and 5, well…what’s done in Maui, stays in Maui but it did involve catching a 9er game with the ocean breeze constantly present.
